LATTE, MACCHIATO, MOCCA NEW DIMENSION
Can you imagine an ideal combination of coffee and milk, filled with true Italian spirit, known until now only from your favourite coffee shop? Experts in each coffee company are probably trying to find such formulas. At Mokate, we have attained a perfect flavour, creating a new, prestigious line of premium products. Grzegorz Rosengarden writes about the details of this „operation” for our bulletin.
Searching for a unique flavour and closely watching current coffee trends, at the end of last year at a Mokate plant in Żory work has started on a product, groundbreaking for the company's offer. Few meetings under the supervision of Katarzyna Mokrysz – the Research and Implementation Centre Director, have created an idea for „something new”. This „something” has met with the team's curiosity and great commitment to the project from the very beginning.
According to the company's philosophy, particular attention was given to the selection of the new product's ingredients. „The project group” oversaw the selection of the top-grade coffees with care typical for Mokate. Oversaw almost literally – the company's delegation has not only sampled hundreds of coffees, but also supervised its transport from the shipyard in Gdynia to the Żory plant. However, not the ingredients alone make for a unique taste – it is also important that they are put together in the right proportions. The work on creating a new, original formula also lasted a long time. Dozens of tastings brought with more inspiration to improve upon the initial version. The laborious, time consuming work was extremely engaging at the same time, and the whole team's commitment and passion were a driving force behind further research. Months of meetings at the tasting table were a great occasion for team integration and so-called creative competition. Everyone wanted to bring something of their own to the final effect. And the final effect? This innovative cappuccino line is a totally new category of products. LATTE, MACCHIATO, MOCCA – products based on natural coffee, created for who seek a taste of excellent Italian coffee in a cup. Thick and extremely creamy milky froth is an another valour of the whole line. The new Premium line expresses the newest trends in the world of coffee. It is an encounter with a flavour known so far only from fine coffee shops. All of the three products make up one line of products, yet each of them is unique in itself. Various flavour compositions present a choice for a coffee lover, depending on the time of day, mood or taste.
LATTE is a drink mild in taste, bringing together subtlety and a truly Italian strong character of coffee. It is enriched with a small amount of ground coffee. The secret of its delicate sweetness lies with a touch of real brown sugar. It makes the LATTE's flavour even more attractive. The composition is supplemented by a touch of caramel which, coupled with milk, creates the drink's ultimate depth of flavour and aroma.
MACCHIATO is a version of the traditional latte with a more distinctive coffee flavour, yet still milky in its own way. This product also features a subtle addition of ground coffee beans, adding an even more refined character.
MOCCA constitutes a reproduction of a real „coffee shop” drink. The addition of cocoa powder creates a distinctive chocolate aroma, besides the drink's typically latte attributes. Add some tall, thick froth – and you are „eye to eye” with an extraordinary version of a coffee and cocoa dessert. All the products are packaged in slim sachets, and these are placed inside unique carton boxes (8 sachets in a box). Their modern form will surely make them stand out on store shelves. Their size and form underline the uniqueness of these new items. Each portion is made for an amount of water to make it in your favourite mug or a special glass for latte drinks. All things indicate that this will be an another great hit for Mokate. And it is no wonder, since the company's philosophy includes a never-ending search for innovations which can bring a smile to the client's faces.
